Earn & Learn Partners with Local Organization Teamed Up for Good

On July 10th Earn & Learn had the honor of sponsoring and attending the first day of Teamed Up for Good’s REAL Futures Summer Experience program located at The Gym at City Center in Oakland, CA. The program was designed to help students (ages 10-14) consider and investigate their future selves by engaging with the essentials of real-world literacy, math, career exploration, teamwork, movement, artistic expression and self-awareness.

During the week-long program, participants had the opportunity to meet with professional women of color in the Bay Area, participate in a number of sports activities, explore careers options and opportunities through fieldtrips and online curriculum.

Led by L.K. Monroe, Teamed Up for Good “provides high impact strategies and resources to see communities, supported by their champions, prosper today and well into the future through deep, purposeful investment in their children.”

Recently, Gina Del Carlo Earn & Learn’s Founder and CEO, became a Teamed Up for Good Board Member. As a woman-owned B Corp Earn & Learn is proud to be giving back to the community and will continue to partner with wonderful local organizations like Teamed Up for Good.
